Tom is renowned for capturing epic scenes and injecting a structured beauty into everything he sees. His focus, stellar work ethic and love of working with people enable him to create the right mood to always find the winning shot.
He has visited nearly 90 countries and has been a Conde Nast Traveller Contributing Photographer for 15 years which has given him a wealth of experience of both shooting and staying at the best hotels in the world.
This has earnt him a reputation as one of the most versatile and hardest working photographers in the business – covering all aspects of hospitality from interiors and architecture to lifestyle and food.
A well-honed technical ability coupled with an eye for detail means his compositions and lighting are distinct and always on point. His small but perfectly aligned team oozes initiative and have styled some of the best properties on the planet.
He understands that every shoot is a collaborative process and loves working with both creative teams as well as the staff at each property.
Tom grew up in the rural Cotswolds which fuelled an early appetite for the outdoors and honed his strong visual aesthetic. His natural curiosity and sense of adventure soon took him abroad – living in Nepal, Sri Lanka and India throughout the 2000s. When he’s not thinking about photography and which airport he needs to head to next, Tom can usually be found on a tennis court or talking late into the night with friends. He considers his spiritual home the Lake District, where he spent many happy years exploring as a child and whose big landscapes still inspire him.
